Shorty landed himself at our local shelter and when no one came for him and the shelter filled up the shleter manager took him home to save him from being euthanized. This 15 lb pup is cute as a button. He loves playing with anything friendly, loves to cuddle, and is just an all around good puppy. All he is missing now is his forever family.

You may verify with any of our adopters that each have adopted this way with no issues. Each adopter is tagged to their pups picture via our FB Album "Adopted" www.facebook.com/globalk9rescue

All dogs are located in AL at our rescue location there. No dog is available to meet prior to arrival in Buffalo. We run transport twice a month to our location in Toronto and stop in Buffalo where you must be able to pick up the dog on the day posted on the ad. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Buffalo Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
