Nibbles-ADOPTED!!!'s Story...

Meet NIBBLES...this handsome boy was taken into the rescue with his siblings and his mom Pretzel.  Mom is a 40lbs mixed breed (Shepherd mix is our best guess!) and Dad was believed to be a Great Dane. He was born on 5-29-11 and was 8 weeks old on 7-25-11.  This boy is playful, affectionate and loves to give kisses.  He is very well-socialized and like most pups inquisitive and curious!  The rescue expects him to be approx. 70-75lbs full grown and he will need a fenced yard in his new home.  Nibbles is neutered, current on all shots, on heartworm preventive and microchipped.  Please contact his foster Janet at 804-746-1709 or at jrmoncure@aol.com to find out more about this sweet pup!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nibbles-ADOPTED!!!, a Ashland Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Dane for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Dane breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
