Jet's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jet's Story...

Meet Jet...he is a 54 lb, Black Pointer/possible Dane Mix. Jet has a sweet, wonderful disposition and does great kids and other dogs. Jet is approx. 7 years old and 55lbs. He has not had a yard and does well on a leash but would be happy with a fenced yard and someone that enjoys leash walking. He was Lyme positive when orginally adopted but has been treated and is asymptomatic and healthy now. Jet is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative and eats Iams food. Jet's mom needs to rehome him because he needs some added attention during storms. She has tried the Thunder Shirt and numerous other things to make this work but it simply hasn't. Please SHARE this handsome boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jet, a Ashland Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
