Wrigley-ADOPTED!!!'s Story...

Meet WRIGLEY...this cutie was rescued from the Caroline Co. Animal Shelter.  Wrigley is approx. 2 years old and 20lbs.  Boy, does this fella have the heart melting face or what?  Wrigley has a calm, gentle, loving personality and it is obvious he was someone's much loved pet before becoming an unclaimed stray.  He loves to play fetch and when he's had enough just stops bringing the toy back.  A fenced yard would be best for Wrigley.  Playful but not hyper.  Wrigley would love to have a hands on owner who spends alot of time with him or a family where he is included in activities.  He is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wrigley-ADOPTED!!!, a Ashland Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
