My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing the Fish Pups - these cuties were born 5/20/17, and are a German Shorthair Pointer mix. Mama is the GSP, papa is unknown, possible suspects include an Australian Shepherd mix (he is lucky we aren't doing paternity testing and scheduling an appointment with Jerry Springer). Perch is a frisky female.

This whole litter is very cuddly, playful, and affectionate. We expect them to be medium-to-large dogs, and all should be excellent companions.

These pups should adapt to homes with other pets and/or children, and all will do best as indoor family dogs.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic (if fairly short - those legs are tiny) walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. These pups hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet. They will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty! We start all puppies on their vaccinations as soon as they arrive at the shelter (this litter will have had 2 rounds of vaccinations prior to adoption, with their third scheduled for 8/24); they will then need rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age.

Perch comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period. We will closing the first round of applications for these pups no later than 8/4/17 (and possibly earlier that that). The pups will be available to go home after 8/4.

Spay/neuter, deworming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $125; more gratefully accepted!)

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your payment to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
