Ace will be a real Ace for someone that loves to take him for walks since he gets so excited when you grab one and head to the door.   He just sits there with such a gleam in his eyes and a happy expression and wagging tail.  Momma take me for a walk he says with his body language.   Ace is an 18 months old Shepherd mix boy that weighs a slight 45 pounds and perfect for just about any setting.   He does need to be in a calmer home with not a lot of chaos and coming and going of strangers all the time.  He just gets confused with all the new faces that might come through a door daily….like lots of children in the neighborhood that he doesn’t know.  He loves children but a lot of new faces all the time sends his home protection into overload and we think he doesn’t need that.   He does bark when someone comes in but soon as he sees who it is he stops.  But lots of strangers coming and going all the time is not his ideal home. He loves to play with a ball and chew on rope toys.   He is not aggressive with the cat and gets along great with other dogs.   He just needs a lifetime friend and companion or couple who promises him their total devotion.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Companion Rescue- NY

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
