If you are looking for a smart and loyal companion, look no further! Introducing Chico - most often lovingly referred to as Chi Chi. Chi is a male Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by his family of almost 9 years due to a necessary move out of the country. He’s now living in a foster home with 2 female dogs – one big and one small - and is doing great. He’s adjusting very well shadowing the humans in the house not letting any of them too far out of sight. He’s fully house-trained, enjoys car rides and going for walks. His favorite spot in the house is the one next to you. Whether you're working at the computer, watching television, reading a book, or laying down to take a nap, Chi Chi will be your loyal companion curled up beside you. He trots about on his walks, sniffing and exploring then upon returning home snuggles quietly back into his bed under his covers.....or on your bed under your covers if allowed. He'll bond quickly with his caregiver as he’s very much looking for a human to connect with. He’ll win you over with his tiny face and expressionistic eyes and big ears. He has an uncanny ability to tunnel himself completely under a blanket when he wants to rest, it's very entertaining. The best fit for Chi Chi would be a quiet adult home without young children under the age of 12 that has the time to take him on daily strolls and is home often enough to allow him to bond. Chi Chi was born in October 2008 and weighs 13 lbs. He's up to date with vaccinations, is neutered and is heart-worm negative.
