Willie came to ESRA with his companion Hudson after his family moved and could not take the two dogs along. We think he may be a Springer with some cocker spaniel or English setter mixed in. We know that Willie is good with other dogs and cats, as he previously lived with some of each.
This boy isn't a barker, so he wouldn't be a good watchdog, but he would do fine in a condo or townhouse because he is a quiet guy. Willie really enjoys sniffing around outside, and he would love to satisfy his curiosity by exploring a fenced yard and/or taking walks around the neighborhood with his family.
Willie loves his dog bed, and he can almost always be found there when he is not sniffing! He is housetrained and shows good inside manners, but he also does great in a kennel when his foster family is gone for the day. Willie is a good eater, and he certainly wouldn't mind receiving treats from the table if his people allowed that!
