My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What is your name?
Levi, Crazy pants, Zoom King…I have many but they call me Levi mostly!

How old are you?
Well, in human years I’d be the legal age of 21 so that means I’m 3!

How much do you weigh?
About 50 lbs

What do you look like?
I look like an athlete! I’m naturally lean with long legs! And my mom says I have the cutest underbite ever!!

What do you like to eat?
Anything I can..I love to eat! But my favorite is Taste of the Wild

What kind of personality do you have?
I’m very silly and make people laugh all the time. I have a lot energy and I would love to find a family that can take me with them for all kinds of adventures. I also love snuggling with my humans and just relaxing on the couch watching tv.

Describe your perfect day:
My perfect day would start with me going potty, coming back inside to have breakfast and then going out to play some fetch. The rest of the day I can go between chewing on my chuck it ball and snuggling with my foster parents. I love going for walks too!

What is your favorite toy?
All of them! I love squeakies and food puzzles and really love chuck it balls!

Do you know any tricks?
I know ‘paw’ and I’m very tolerant having clothes on like; hats and sunglasses…does that count? OH…I have my AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate! That’s not a trick but it shows how smart and what a good boy I am!

What scares you?
Not much of anything anymore! I have lots of confidence now!

Have you been around children? Do you like them?
I have and they kinda freak me out. They move fast and scream but I would like being around well mannered kids!

Do you like cats?
Boy do I!! They always start the chase me game and it’s so much fun!

How do you feel about other dogs?
I like most dogs I meet and I’m sort of shy when meeting them and I’m very tolerant! I love the little puppies! I can be a little protective with toys but I’m learning to share and I actually enjoy to play tug with my foster brother Blake.

If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The “Chuck It” Factory!

How is your health?
Healthy as a goat! Wait, are goats healthy?

Who do you in live with your foster home and who is your closest companion?
I live with my foster parents and my foster brother Blake.

Where do you hang out when you are home alone?
My crate!

Where do you sleep?
My crate in my moms room but sometimes my mom lets me sleep with her.

Do you like walking on a leash?
Yes!! I also love to play fetch! That’s my favorite!

Do you have any "not-so-great" habits that we should know about? For instance, do you bark or dig in the yard?
I don’t dig but I can bark if I hear other dogs barking…it’s in my DNA

Are you house trained? (Meaning do you go potty outside)
Of course!

Do you like water?
I love the kiddie pools! Not fond of bath water though..

What do you love about your foster family?
There is always something to do and I get to practice my obedience every day! I even get to be a part of other dogs training…I’m smart and show other dogs stuff like the park it, sit stays and my down stays! I love having so much obedience knowledge!

What was your life like before being brought into NorCal Bully Breed Rescue?
Well, I’ve been living with my family at Tug Dogs for over 2 years now so I’ve spent lots of time learning to be a very good boy! I used to be fearful of lots of things like people, dogs and new environments. Now I love all of those…just not weird scary people! I just went to an adoption event with my rescue and I did awesome! I loved everyone I met and was very respectful with all the dogs there!

NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary).

Levi's adoption donation has been sponsored by a generous donor!!

Interested in meeting Levi or any of our available pooches? Complete and submit our adoption application on our website norcalbullybreedrescue.com and we will respond to you within 24 to 48 hours.
