Buddy is looking to be someone’s forever buddy! He is a lovely Labrador mix, just a year old and weighing 66 pounds. He absolutely loves his humans and is very affectionate. A high energy dog, Buddy is looking for an active family he can go hiking with and enjoy long walks exploring. Buddy gets along fine with other dogs he meets but isn’t a fan of felines. He was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico where he was neutered, dewormed and vaccinated. Buddy is now available for adoption in the Vancouver/Vancouver Island, BC area. If you are an active family looking for the perfect companion contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application for Buddy.

About PVCA Nanaimo British Columbia

About Our Rescue Group...

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!

Our Adoption Process...

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $250USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.
