"Everything the light touches is our kingdom."
Introducing the Queen Lioness, Sarabi! This #LionKing is regal, wise, and loyal to her family. Sarabi is a kind-hearted and playful, showing respect for all creatures – humans, dogs, cats, pigs, and ponies alike! Sarabi was found with her King of the Pride, Mufasa, and their young puppy, Simba (also available!), running along a highway in rural Texas. For a long time, many people driving by the highway would spot them, but no one was willing or able to help. It was only a matter of time before something would happen to them if they were left out there. With the help of a generous donor, we were able to help the entire family, and they are all happy, safe, and getting the medical care that they need. Sarabi is a complete ham and looking for herforever pride. Could Sarabi be part of your circle of life? Visit heartsandbonesrescue.org.

About Hearts & Bones Rescue - NY

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue, started by a group of people who have been rescuing dogs together for several years. It's been our dream to have our own rescue, and focus on rescuing dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We don't have a physical shelter, we are a foster-only rescue. Please email us at adopt@heartsandbonesrescue.com to arrange a meeting with our dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a pet from Hearts & Bones, you must be at least 23 years of age, able to provide personal, professional and vet references (if applicable), consent to an in-person or virtual home visit (dependent on location) and agree to the terms of the adoption application and adoption contract.

Upon approval, you will then sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee of $450. This covers costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our rescue dogs. Your adoption fee allows us to save another life that is in need.
