Hey there everyone! I am Emma Jane! I have two names because I am sooooo special. I had a rough start to my life. They thought I would never walk again. Guess what? I showed everyone! Ask my foster family and they will tell you my story! Now I am on the mend and ready to find my forever family. I am a favorite at the rescue! Everyone loves me and I love them! I am such a sweet girl that loves being around people and getting hugs and kisses from everyone. If you are super special I may give one back! I am a medium size dog but I just know I can fit on your lap. Laps are the best for snuggling. I like to rest my head on your shoulder too. Besides being so cute and sweet I am also housebroken. I really like to go for walks too and am doing great on a leash. I like to be outside and smell all of the beautiful flowers. Life is so amazing now that I am feeling better. I am searching for my special forever family. I have amazing resilience and am truly a survivor. I am ready to find a forever home!
Emma Jane is estimated to be 2 years old and 44 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
