Hi, my name is Drew. My foster family calls me Drewby Drewby Drew. They say because I look like Scooby Doo. I am a friendly, sweet boy who loves to cuddle with my people. I love to run and play with the resident dogs. I do not even mind the grumpy old cat. I also like the neighborhood kids. They make funny noises that makes me do cute head tilts. I love being outside rolling around in the grass, or following around my foster sister. My personality is coming out more and more everyday. I have about a medium energy level. During the work day I am crated, but I get to sleep in the bed at night. I am fully potty trained too.
I am just an all around great guy and would love my very own family.
Drew is estimated to be 6.5 months old and 30 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed and size when grown.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
