Facts about Ti-Mine *declawed*

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
DOB Jul4 4, 2010.

Ti-Mine is a gorgeous girl with a nice, loud purr. She takes some time to trust people, but is very relaxed if given her space. She loves being petted and rubbing her face against everything. When she is really enjoying petted she will even drool a little... in a very ladylike manner. Ti-Mine loves to chat to birds outside the window and enjoys lounging in the sun.

Ti-Mine is declawed on all four paws, so when she feels nervous she will nip people to tell them to stop touching her. While she loves to roll around, she gets very nervous if her belly is touched. She would do best in a home without small children, as their sudden movements would make her nervous. She has calmed down a lot in her time in foster care, and now only nips when there are other cats around, so she would do best as a solo cat, given the run of the place and all of your attention.

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

***AUGUST ONLY*** All our cats two years and older have a reduced adoption fee of $100 (vs. our standard fee of $175).

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $100 per cat vs. $175 per cat.
