It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but I’ve decided to start looking for a new home for Maya. Maya is 5 years old. Maya lived with a relative until she became ill and passed away. I then took Maya to come live with us.

She is sweet, mellow and loves attention. Most of the time she is content to sit in her window and watch CatTV. She is not a lap cat but she is a cuddler. She will tap you on the arm repeatedly until she gets your attention. She’s the cutest thing when she’s batting around her favorite yellow ball making squeaking noises. She loves to sleep on the bed at your side. She is an indoor only cat.

Maya is really the sweetest cat when she doesn’t have competition. As they got older, she started to become more territorial…only toward other cats, not to people. When we spend alone time she’s adorable and happy and it makes this decision so much harder. I truly adore her, but she’s just not happy which puts everyone on edge all the time. She truly is a great cat, but she needs to be an only cat.

I have tried everything I could to turn it around with no luck. I brought her to the vet to rule out anything medical. Everything is fine. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Maya would do best in a quiet home with not a lot of activity. She will stay with us until I can find her the perfect home. My name is Carla & my phone is 585-857-0831.
