My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bama is a 12-year-old neutered male black lab. Bama weighs 61 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Aug 27, 2017: Look at this face! He is as sweet as he looks and doesn't look or act his age. He's the perfect, loving, Velcro boy. He's good with other dogs, enjoys visiting folks his age (seniors). He hopes someone will open their heart, arms and home to him. He doesn't ask for much. A nice ortho bed, good food and love.

August 21, 2017:. Bama checking in! A few reminders. I am good with other dogs, great on a lead, house and crate trained, and Velcro with humans. FM takes me for walks to our senior center and Omg do I make those folks happy. I sit quietly while they pet me or shake their hand if they offer theirs.

Aug, 5 2017: This handsome lad is a bundle of sweetness. He's a great snuggle buddy who will stick to his humans like glue. He's wonderful with other dogs, good on a leash, house and crate trained, and overall fantastic. He enjoys chasing a ball or simply meandering around in the yard.

Jul 31, 2017: Bama says, I'm a catch! I'm the perfect companion. I love going for walks and am a dream on a leash. I love every dog I meet. I'm stuck like glue to my humans, I'm house and crate trained. Won't you give this sweet boy a chance?

July 11, 2017: This dashing 12 yr old gentleman is a Velcro boy who loves being with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs too. Bama is house and crate trained and walks great on a lead. This boy is really hoping to spend his summer with his forever family.

Jun 23, 2017: Bama is a sweet, senior guy and has settled in nicely at his foster home. He is house trained and crate trained. He loves going for walks and is wonderful on the leash. Bama has met a few doggy friends in the neighborhood and gets along well with the resident dog! He loves everyone he meets and is just such a sweet and pleasant pup to be around!

Jun 17, 2017: Bama is a sweet and gentle guy looking for a place to live out his golden years. He is the sweetest guy who doesn't look or act his age. He enjoyed visiting a nursing home where everyone could pet him. No kid history so he's approved for kids 10 and up. No cat history so cats are unknown. He is good with other dogs.
