Hi there!  My name is Snoopy. I’m a two-year old Shih Tzu mix. I’m house trained and love my fenced-in yard for potty-breaks.  Snoopy LOVES the company of other dogs.  We think it's because he was used to being around a lot of dogs.  To make him less lonely, CHR is hoping to place him in a home with another friendly dog.  Snoopy is housetrained.  He goes out for a potty break every 5-6 hours during the day.  He very cuddley and loving.

Snoopy enjoys food and romping around the backyard. He's not really used to walks yet so a fenced yard would be perfect for him.  Please contact us if you think this sweetie would be a good fit. He's got a great attitude towards life and we think he would make most families very happy.

Ideal Home-  Someone home part of the day or a dog walking service in place at the time of the adoption if applicant works 7+ hours during the day.   No cats please . Snoopy enjoys the company of other dogs.  CHR is asking that he go to a home with another friendly dog in the house.

About Caring Hearts Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Caring Hearts Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in Fairfax Virginia. Our volunteers rescue toy breed dogs from desperate situations including neglect, puppy mill rescue, owner surrender and euthanasia by animal shelters due to overpopulation. All of our rescued dogs stay in safe foster homes while they await their "forever home." Our rescued babies are examined and given inoculations and spayed or neutered before placement. We search for families that understand the responsibility of being a Guardian to these little guys and consider them members of the family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

CHR facilitates all the meetings with your rescued dog. Potential adopters will make arrangements with a CHR representative to meet your foster dog. We then contact the foster parent to arrange a meeting at a convenient location for the foster parent.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step is filling out a application at the following address http://www.caringheartsrescue.org/Adopt.html . Click on the apply button under the dog you are interested in.

If you have pets, you will be required to provide medical records for your current pets as proof that they are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and on heart worm preventative. We will contact you after this first step is completed. Thank you very much for your time!
