My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh sweet Cleo! I fell in love with this girl the minute she walked through our doors a few months ago. She had a rough start to life as she was in a yard/home with about 25 other dogs. Some of those dogs were litter mates and would attack her because she was so submissive. Cleo has battle scars all over her face but she has moved on from those days. She is available at Friendship APL today! She would do best in a home with older children and doesn't seem too fond of men. Cleo is very curious of cats so I would be cautious with her around cats and small animals. Cleo is 2.5 years old. Written by FAPL Staff Member, Katie. Cleo was adopted and returned in less than 24 hours. His owner didn't realize how much responsiblity a dog would be:(

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
