Copper's Story...
Copper is a very pretty and very sweet and happy puppy who needs a home where she will be much more appreciated than she has been. She is approx. 6 months old, weighs 24 pounds now and might reach a weight of about 30. Copper is very smart as most Beagles tend to be; she is already learning basic commands and walking like a little lady on a leash. Copper is up to date on all shots, she has been spayed and is on heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. This sweet girl will bring a lot of love and fun to someone's life. The Beagle nose can lead them off though, so a fenced in yard is a must. If you would like to give this sweet Beagle girl the forever home she deserves, please contact omlc7@hotmail.com or lorainecm@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Harrisonburg Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
