Eli was wandering around the neighborhood for a week when we found him. He was immediately very kind and loving, and very obedient. He wants to please, and is always looking to you for direction. I quickly taught him the basic commands of sit, stay, and come, and he is clearly a fast learner.
Eli doesn’t bark unless he’s left alone in his kennel; but I know he can be kennel trained easily, which we will work on doing. He has mild separation anxiety, so he will need to be kennel trained for when you aren’t at home. But he’s an obedient angel when you’re around, and only gets upset because he loves to be around people or he gets lonely.
Eli is great in cars and loves to go for rides! He also sleeps very deeply and snores sometimes. He’s a wonderful dog, and I would keep him in a heartbeat if I could promise him a forever home. But I leave for college in a year. Overall, Eli is a big baby, and deserves a loving, active home that will make sure he is exercised daily and given plenty of hugs and affection.
