Meet Maverick, a handsome 8 to 9 year old golden boy. Maverick's foster family feels very lucky to have him for their very first foster dog. What a great experience. Here's what they have to say.

We are very lucky to have Maverick as our first GRFR foster. Maverick is an absolute gentleman. He walked into our house as if he belonged there. He is a fluffy guy but doesn't mind being brushed. He helps himself to chew toys from the basket and sometimes sings with a tennis ball in his mouth. He is content with a couple short walks per day. He walks well on a harness and responds to basic commands. He gets along well with other dogs even a frisky Boston terrier. He is house-trained and has free roam of the house. We live on a busy street and he has shown a tendency to bark at noisy passing cars so would do best in a quiet neighborhood. Now that he's been neutered, he is ready for a forever home!
