Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burton was spotted sprawled along the roadside in a Jeannette neighborhood. He was in terrible condition with scabs and hair loss all over his poor body. He was picked up easily and taken to our vet for evaluation. We suspected a horrible case of ringworm. Turns out that it was a bad allergic reaction, possibly to whatever he had been foraging and eating from garbage and ringworm combined. He had a lot of flabby skin on his belly, showing that he had lost a lot of weight recently. He tested negative for leukemia/FIV and was already neutered so he must have belonged to somebody at one point. He did not have a microchip, and no one came forward to claim him. Poor Burton went through months of treatment. He had to be isolated from, all the other cats and handled only with lab coats and gloves. No kisses and head butts for him. But through it all, he NEVER lost his amazing personality. He is a super sweet guy and so affectionate despite many weeks in quarantine. Now he is looking for a forever indoor safe home where he will be cherished and have a warm bed and good food every day. His hair is almost completely grown back in from having hardly any..
His long skinny tail and gaunt, comical look reminded our volunteers of a Tim Burton character hence his name. (when found) He is now a plump huggable 12 pounds. sosrescue15644@gmail.com for application
