Sweet Sydney is a 6 year old dapple dachshund who was surrendered to LHS (along with Rocky) after the family could no longer care for her:( This little girl was so confused! She had no idea what had happened to change her life so! When a foster heard about her, she quickly took her into her home where she now waits for her forever family , could it be yours?

This little girl is just a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and take long naps on the couch. She is very mild mannered and underfoot. She just loves to be close to her humans!

Sydney is 6 years old and weighs about 15lbs. She is crate trained and housetrained, does well in the car and sleeps quietly throughout the night in her crate. She does great with the resident doggies and has not been exposed to cats.  And given her small size would do best will older considerate kiddos.  She is spayed, HW negative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

So if you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please fill out an application online. Her foster family well be in touch within 24 hrs VIA EMAIL.

To provide medical treatment for animals in our care

To provide foster homes for animals in our care

To place rescued animals in permanent, loving homes

To build and maintain a facility to house rescued animals and host adoptions.

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
