Our organization works to help people and their pets live better lives together. We run the local pet food bank and work to help our Second Chance Dogs find alternatives to going to our shelter, where they are usually put down immediately. We are starting our efforts to rescue at risk cats and dogs from our high-kill municipal shelter.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do some off-site adoptions, and our rescues animals are in foster homes. We can arrange for adopters to meet animals as soon as possible.
Our Adoption Process...
Initial adoption screening is done over the phone. When we approve an adopter past that stage, we arrange a time for the adopter to meet the animal or let the adopter know of our next offsite adoption event. If it looks like it is a good match for the animal and family, we ask the adopter to fill out our adoption agreement contract, and we charge a $75, non-refundable adoption fee for dogs and $50 for cats. This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchipping.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
