THANK YOU, for caring enough to reach out to a rescued companion animal in need of love, respect and a warm place to lay it's head.
LORELEI and her 2 brothers were rescued from Rutherford Co, NC's 'high-kill' Animal Control facility. Dumped there by past owner as an 'unwanted litter'. Thankfully, AC folks called H4S and asked if we had room(of course!) and I rushed down to keep them from touching the floor. They were caked in Carolina red mud, so appeared to be brown, until we gave them a good bath. Then, their spirits began to sparkle. After their first vax/dewormer & puppy vitamins/high-calorie food, you could SEE their spirits soar with contentment.
dob: May 23, 2017...BONO: Blk Lab(although, brother/HANK- looks Border Collie/BlkLabX and sister/LORELEI- looks mostly BlkLab & BoxerX)...there CAN be different dads in each litter, so we are unsure exactly who has what breed Daddy. AC said past owner said Mom is a Blk Lab. MOSTLY, they are ADORABLE and very sweet.
At first, Bono was a bit shy, but has so totally blossomed out. Lorelei is the most outgoing to ALL, while Hank is the most people-oriented...all are very affectionate and interested in being with their person/playing with others, etc.
These pups are in, and will remain in foster care in Rutherford Co, NC until they have completed their 5 week quarantine, have received 3 puppy boosters(of 4 required at 4mos) and will be spay/neutered on August 15th. They will be ready to go to their pre-approved adoptive families/person on SAT/AUGUST 19th.
All out-of-state adoptions are transported by Happy Dogs' rescued pet transport(they ONLY transport rescued cats and dogs-NO BREEDER's animals), licensed and bonded to points along their route from western NC to Manchester, NH and Albany, NY. Transport fees are to be paid by the adopter at the time of delivery, $100 to all points from western NC to Long Island/Vince Lombardi on NJTnpk and $125 to all points N of NYC/LI, vis cash/cashiers check).
Adoption fee: $250(includes spay, micro-chip, 3puppy boosters..4th/last is required at 4mos), Bordatella and 1st yr Rabies vax, current w/ monthly heart worm & flea/tick prevention, have had 2>3 dewormings, health certificate-issued within 5days of transport, new nylon Martingale collar and 6'leash, 'Rescue Dogs Rock' car magnet, chew toy and beef knee cap bone).

Upon receipt, we will acknowledge your application and send a questionnaire out to your 3 personal references, & will be calling your vet's office and speak with your property owner/mgmt grp(should you rent) within 2 business days.
We will contact you just as soon as we have heard back from your references.
To help expedite being approved, PLEASE, be sure to let your references know to expect an email from Howlin4Spirit and call your vet office to OK for them to release your pet's medical history to us!) Also, let your property mgr/owner know that you are seeking to adopt a pet, in case any paperwork or a cleaning deposit needs to be addressed.
