Facts about Stephanie
Breed: Mastiff Mix
Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
I am already spayed.
Stephanie is four years old, and she's our most medically needy Extra Mile Crew Member. Stephanie is our most nervous Extra Mile Crew Member, as well. We're taking it extra-slow with Stephanie, reassuring her with each step that she's safe and loved. Her favorite place so far: her kurunda bed.
Stephanie is blind in one eye, and her eye may need medical attention in the near future. She also needs to be spayed and vaccinated, tested for heartworms, and given normal preventative care. She'll also need dental work, likely with extractions.
Update: Stephanie is getting closer to coming out on a leash, but she still spooks easily. She likes to talk in her kennel, and we can even hear her in other parts of the building! She really likes toys and does a happy dance when she sees you coming. She did walk on leash to the door and looked out, but she was too scared to continue forward so we are continuing to work with her. She seems very interested in the other dogs and very curious about becoming friends. She will likely go through her medical evaluation very soon.
