Hi everyone! My name is Malt. My littermates are Porter, Ale and Lager ... see where we're going with this? I am a gorgeous, long-haired, female kitten in need of a loving, forever home. I was born the first week of April 2017 and I have all my shots. I may look like a tiny kitten, but what I really am is a beautiful black (with brown highlights) seductress. I melt hearts on the spot. I love to cuddle and purr instantly when my humans let me sit in their laps and pet me. I also love to play with toys, my littermates and humans as well. And I am, like all girls, very pristine. I like a clean environment. I always use the litterbox and I groom myself a lot. I like to show off my beautiful coat. PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday of each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2017: September 23, October 28 and November 25.
Saturday, October 7: Adoption event at
Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2017: October 7, October 21, November 4, November 18, December 2 and December 16.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
