Hello, my name is Sumatra. I am a beautiful medium-haired tabby cat with a fluffy tail, sparkling green eyes and dark lipstick. I'm quite pretty and very glamorous. I am very friendly and social. I love people. I also love to play with toys. I make the cutest chirping sound. I am looking for a home where I will be treated like a treasured member of the family. I love being petted. I enjoy companionship and lounging around with my people. When I'm not napping or soaking up attention and affection, I'm batting around my toys or watching the birds and the blowing leaves out the window. Please give me a chance to join your family. PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday of each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).

Saturday, December 2 – Pet Photos with Santa: Bring your pets for a photo session with Santa Paws at
Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd), between 1 and 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the homeless pets of Paws for Life.
Santa Paws event dates for 2017: December 2, December 9 and December 16.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
