Sleepy is a young female Chihuahua mix that was born on June 7th, 2017. She will be available for adoption on August 12th!! Applications are being accepted now! We do have an adoption application that needs to be filled out, we do a home visit, other pets must be spayed/neutered, and renters must have written landlord permission to have a dog. For our long distance adoptions we will need a veterinarian reference and can take that in place of the home check. Most of our dogs require a securely fenced yard. Our dogs tend to be very small so the fence needs to be checked closely for small holes/escape routes. The adoption fee for our puppies is $300 with $50 refundable when they get fixed. They must be fixed by 6 months of age and it is the responsibility of the adopter to get it done. They will have had their first set of shots but the adopter will need to complete the series with their veterinarian. We will have them all microchipped before they are adopted. We will email applications as soon as we get a request for one. We ask that they be sent back as soon as possible. Once the application is approved we will do the home check. If the home check is good then we will set up a time for the adopters to come pick out the puppy/puppies they want. Please email us at SOSPetRescue@yahoo.com or Facebook message us to request an adoption application or with any questions.
