Hachiko is a charming and adoring companion dog. He LOVES all people to the ends of the earth – it is amazing that a dog who has been through so much is able to forgive so easily. He could cuddle for hours, and wags his tail at the smallest sound of his human coming near! He has the happiest look about him, and gets a playful “bounce” when excited – he dances towards you with his cute floppy ears facing in your direction!
He is perfectly housetrained and non-destructive – He is good in his crate, but also good without one. He enjoys his daily naps, inside or outside while his foster mom gardens. He has been playful recently and started chewing and throwing around a rope toy! He knows “sit” and “down”, as well as “wait” and “be careful” (or “over here” and sometimes “watch out!”).
Why does Hachiko know these phrases you ask? Hach is not only a tri-pod, but he is also seeing impaired – blind in one eye, while he sees light in the other (his vet says sadly he cannot actually see anything, only light that peers through one eye). This doesn’t slow Hachie down though! Once he learns his way around, and is comfortable in his surroundings, he walks around confidently and uses his beautiful ears and cute button nose to find his way around. He adjusts quickly because he knows there always love following him!

House-trained: Yes, and non-destructive, can be left without his crate.
Crate-trained: Yes – as long as he has a comfy bed, he is happy as can be!
Dogs: Calm dogs only please, and slow introductions are best for me!
