My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a friendly one year old mix. Photos 2-4 were taken upon arrival where poor Dakota wasn't sure what was going on. His first photo was taken a few days later once he had the chance to settle in. He's a happy boy that's friendly and loves to run and play. Dakota is from another facility so his background is unknown. It's best to stop by and spend some time with Dakota. It won't take you long to find out what a nice dog he is. Dakota is still young and will need guidance. ***Dakota was recently adopted and returned. He was doing well in the home but when the grandchildren were visiting (all under the age of 2) he would nip at them. Adopters thought he was jealous for attention. They said he was house trained but could use some obedience training. Dakota would thrive in a home with older kids where the family is willing to work with him.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
