'ONYX & OREO' (whom we call 'The Pointer Sisters' are 2 yr old Pointer/Lab mix females we rescued from a very high kill shelter. Onyx is a happy, outgoing, sweet 35-40 lb girl and Oreo is a gentle, shy, sweet 45 - 50 lb. girl who's distinctive split faced color markings are termed 'chimera'. Oreo is a bit shy/standoffish until she gets know you (1-2 days) and knows she's safe then she wants all your loving. Onyx is friendly from the get go, never meets a stranger. Their personalities compliment each other, on top of adoring one another. They play wonderfully together and it is fun to watch them chase each other. They learned basic obedience ... to sit when told and they go immediately to their crate when let in the house. They both are happy, loving dogs and will make someone great pets, full of energy and needs someone willing to give the attention and exercise they need. Onyx & Oreo are both spayed, have been de-wormed, are current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
