My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'SHERLOCK' is a magnificently handsome, 8 month old, 66 lb. chocolate Labrador Retriever male we rescued from a very high kill pound. Sherlock is a very special boy. A chocolate water loving Labrador who will shadow your every move like he is velcro. He has big floppy ears and gigantic feet. He is looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a large breed dog. Sherlock deserves a home that will show him what it means to be in a family and will continue to give him all the love he deserves. Only a puppy, he is still learning his boundaries and will require exercise or outdoor play to occupy his inner curiosity and energy. Regardless of his size, he approaches everyone with a very trusting and playful naive nature. He is a responsive smart boy who has quickly learned from having a human to look up to. And at the end of each day, he will express all his excitement by showing how much he enjoys having you in his life by giving wet kisses, dog hugs, and love. Sherlock is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
