Hi! I'm Jacari. They called me a “lilac point” Siamese mix at the vet, so I guess that makes me a purple cat. I enjoy being brushed and having my nails clipped, but I'm not some marshmallow of a cat who just lies around all day getting the spa treatment and reading GQ. When the cat toys appear (especially those feather ones) I turn into a highly skilled, indefatigable hunter. Don't let my slightly-crossed eyes fool you, at over twelve pounds (I'm big boned, seriously) this purple cat can crush any toy mice or birds you happen to have lying around, and then snuggle the night away once the varmints are vanquished.

I don't mind other cats, but I am an alpha cat, so it might be best if I had my indoor hunting grounds to myself, or at least had other pets around who could match me in size and strength (I wrestle to win!). I'm slightly chatty, but not as much as some of my Siamese cousins, and I usually have interesting things to say. (Someone said that my “what's up?” sounds a little like a baby wookie, which I'm sure is a compliment.) The experts guess that I'm two to four years old, so I'm mature enough to be a gentleman, but still young enough to have fun!
I am currently in foster care and not at the adoption center. If you'd like to know more about me, just leave a message for my human assistant at 651-295-3758. She'll call you back.

My adoption fee is $120.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
