Meet Reef an approximately 15-16 week old Boxer/Terrier mix who currently weighs 17 pounds. While we are 100% certain that he is adorable and loving, his breed mix is truly a best guess. Reef is super sweet, playful, and traveled all the way from Puerto Rico to find his forever home. He is good with other dogs, all people and young enough to learn about cats. Because he's a baby, he'll require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue his training - no exceptions! He is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be neutered at the age of 6 months.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking withâ the vet(s) listed on your application to ensureâ that your âcurrent and previous âpet(s) are kept up to date on vaccinesâ (includingâ rabiesâ)â, spayed or neutered, âmaintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and âexamined annually by your vet.***
