Sweet Pea and Rosebud were brought to the shelter together. Both are declawed so must remain indoors. Both are super sweet and loving. Both need homes, preferably together, where they can show you all the love they have to give. They are both 7 years old.

About Our Shelter...
The Panhandle Animal Shelter is a 501 (3)c non-profit shelter which is not affiliated with the county or city and receives no tax support.
Of the 1500 cats and dogs admitted to the shelter each year, nearly all strays will be placed in adoptive homes and several hundred will be reunited with their owners.
The shelter's outreach programs provide humane education, spay/neuter cost assistance and free pet identification & registration.

We are located in Ponderay, Idaho near Sandpoint. We are open 7 days a week 12:00am - 5:30 pm Monday-Saturday,and 12-4:30 on Sunday. We do not open until 2pm on the first Thursday of every month to allow for staff training.

Our Adoption Process...
You must qualify to adopt one of our shelter pets, qualification process includes filling out a adoption application & being approved by the staff of the Panhandle Animal Shelter. We reserve the right to refuse the adoption of an animal to anyone we feel not adequate. The standard K-9 adoption fee's are $85 for adult dogs and $95 for small dogs and puppies. We also have featued dogs availble for $35. Adult cats are $45 and kittens are $65. Featured cats are $10
