Lily's Story...
Lily is a beautiful 2 year old Great Pyrenees/ Australian Shepherd Mix that wound up in the pound with Daisy who we think is her daughter. The rescue was full but a foster stepped up and took in the pair to save their lives. Lily is very calm and sweet. She knows how to sit and we think she is housebroken. She is very good with the other dogs and ignores the cats. She is very underweight under all that hair but her foster will soon have that fixed! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and is heartworm negative! We would like her to stay with her daughter but it is not a must and they would do fine apart. Her adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Attalla Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd for sale in Attalla, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Attalla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Attalla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Attalla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Attalla paves the way for another one to be saved.
