Hi my name is Shiloh 3 and I’m a 11month old black lab mix. I weigh about 60 lbs. I come across as full of exuberance on first impressions but really I am just an adventurous kid who loves to play ball.
My days start with a run around the yard to round up all my toys, followed by a roll down the hill in my backyard. My all time favorite game to play is fetch. My foster family has described me as lightning fast, because as soon as I see a ball fly through the air, I take off like a bolt of lightning. I am crate-trained and have been happily sleeping in my crate every night. I currently live with a family with 3 small kids, 2 other dogs, and 2 cats. I don’t pay much attention to the cats and I play well with the kids.
I could probably benefit from some basic training and friendly reminders of manners when I meet other dogs. But I am a young boy that you can mold into a great dog. For example, when I meet another dog, my manners go out the window and I am so excited to play that I don’t notice if my new friends are not having as much fun as I am. I would probably be better off in a home where I was an only doggy so that I could soak up all the attention. But I would appreciate a family that will continue to work on my manners with friends as I really do just want to play with my friends. I also do well in the house and love laying down to get a good belly rub.
I love being outside and going for walks. I walk pretty well on a leash, occasionally getting excited when I see new friends, I just LOVE to play, that again, I tend to forget my manners. Did I mention that I am adventurous? My new family needs to have secure fences, because I like to explore and will find little holes in the fence to jump through if I can find one.
