Brazil and that underbite. 1 year young and 10 lbs, Brazil is a cuddly girl that would love a lap. She does well with other dogs but really enjoys human attention. Great with cats and kids. She is more of a lap dog than a playful dog, but I am sure that would change once she has a home of her own and gets settled. Brazil is very quiet and well mannered. She has a cute underbite that makes her very unique and a wonderful personality.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. All of our adoptable dogs are located in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brazil, a Brattleboro Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
