This guy is quite a crème puff. He is so loving, and enjoys as much attention and affection as you will give him. If you are looking for a companion who wants to be showered with lots of petting and belly rubs, here is the boy for you! He has done well with adult dog and puppy introductions and has become good friends with the large breed dog in the foster home, and we think he will be good with other cats as well, but he hasn't been officially "cat tested" yet, as the resident cat hisses and runs (though he appears to have no issue with her and tries to be near her). Jon Snow is FIV+, so if he is adopted into a home with other felines, it should be only if the resident feline/s are agreeable and friendly and no fights will break out. We are very confident this is a cat that would enjoy a dog or a cat pal and would be a wonderful companion to friendly canines and felines alike. Call us to inquire about this handsome fella or with any questions you may have about FIV.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
