Facts about Marmalade
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/Domestic Shorthair Mix
I am already spayed.
Marmalade has had a rough time! Barely a year old, she came into the shelter with kittens. After her kittens were weaned and she was waiting to be spayed, ringworm was suspected so she was put into isolation. She did not have ringworm but, while in isolation, she contracted an upper respiratory virus from the other kitties in isolation. Poor Marmalade! Marmalade is healthy and ready to go to a loving home. She is very pretty, sweet and gentle. And, when she can get out of a kennel and stretch her legs, we bet she has a lot of running and playing in her. She will make a wonderful addition to your family and home.
Our shelter opened it's door in 1996 and is 100% supported by private donations.
Our mission is to protect the animals that are unable to speak for themselves, by providing compassionate care and placement for homeless pets without the need for euthanasia.

Our Adoption Process...
We require an application, available on our website. Adoption requires approval of that application and a successful meet and greet to ensure that the pet is suitable for the entire family including other family pets. We adopt out family pets. We do not adopt out animals that will be predominately outside or "guard" dogs. We reserve the right to conduct home checks. Adoption fees are $65 for cats and range from $90-$105 for dogs.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
