Little Lino is 2-3 year old Chihuahua mix who was rescued with 2 other Chihuahuas from a hoarding situation. They were covered in filth and feces, and had never been outside, touched grass, or felt the sun. Lino is a very sweet pup! He’s very much like a typical chihuahua; he picks his person and is very loyal to them and his pack. He’s not a barker when he's at home, but does like to mouth off at the park. Lino loves going for walks, snuggling under blankets and supervising the yard and house chores! Lino is dog friendly, but will need an adjustment period to get used to the dog. He is also not very kid friendly at this time. However, with lots of love, work and patience, we’re confident he’ll improve! Lino really needs a family who is willing to give him the time and patience he needs to adjust to a new environment. We promise he is totally worth it! Lino is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, house trained, and ready for his forever family! His adoption fee is $200. About The Animal Pad - CA Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

The Animal Pad is a nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue devoted to saving the lives of dogs facing euthanasia at high kill animal shelters. Our focus is on abused, neglected, injured, and otherwise special needs dogs; in addition to a focus on CA's overpopulated breeds, such as pit bulls, pit-mixes, and chihuahuas. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home locally.

We are dedicated to animal advocacy, and educating dog owners on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. We are a foster based rescue, and rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the amazing people who make donations toward the rescue and care of the dogs we save.

We are always looking for adopters, fosters, donations, volunteers, etc.. Please let us know if you would like to get involved by contacting us at one of the email addresses found below.
