Hi! I'm Sadie! I was in a home with too many dogs. I was saved and now I'm looking for my new, loving forever home! Yes, I'm the most adorable pup on earth and have the personality to match! You couldn't ask for a more loving, loyal and sweet pup! I'm approx. 8 months old and approx. 1.5-2 pounds(8/2). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful. I'm already well socialized. You'll see how wonderful and feisty I am in my video! I'm great with older kids, cats and other dogs. Small kids might play too ruff with me and accidentally hurt me. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm pee-pad and dog door trained. I'm also leash trained. I'm not a barker and come when called. I have a very gentle, loving and submissive temperament. I'm a dog that will bond heavily to my human to the point that I have separation anxiety. I like to be with my human at ALL times! I love to be carried and going for car rides. I'm a true lap baby and love to sleep snuggled up next to my human. I show my feisty side when I'm in the yard. I will stretch my tiny legs and put my ears in the wind; as you'll also see in my video. I'm a very comical little girl and will keep a smile on your face 24/7! I hope to get a forever home where I'm treated like the little princess I am! I hope my new forever person or family plays endlessly with me, takes me for walks and to the dog park. I'd be a great dog for anyone who wants a loyal and constant companion. You could even take me to work with you! I'd be the talk of the office! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving home! Belly rubs are a must!

About Carolina Canine Rescue Burlington VT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small  nonprofit  group.  We rely only on our adoption fees to survive. We have been rescuing, vetting, and rehabilitating dogs and puppies  since 2009.  We take  in dogs and puppies  from our county  kill shelter as well as abandoned and injured dogs and puppies, regardless  of  their age or any health issues.  We do not turn any away due to health issues. We have taken in dogs with hearworms, mange, physical handicaps, injuries, severe malnutrition, etc. You name it, we've probably seen it! We get these pooches back to good health then begin our search for just the right home for that pet! We also  assist  individuals  in rehoming  their  pets if needed. One advantage we have over other rescues is that two of our volunteers are in wheelchairs, so many of our pooches are already used to being around individuals with special needs!

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Any monetary donations are greatly appreciated and go toward vet bills and dog food!  Donations may be made by mail or paypal to awsurry@gmail.com   Our website also has a paypal donate button on the homepage. All donations  are tax deductible!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at various pet stores during the warmer months.

Our Adoption Process...

We do require  an adoption  application  and an adoption  contract,  which can be  found  on our website  at  carolinacaninerescuenc.com   Adoption  fees vary. You must be at least 20 yrs. of age to apply.

All of our available  pets are rescued  from NC and VA where the county animal shelters euthanize up to 100% of the animals.  Many of the southern county shelters still euthanize with the gas chamber and by heart stick.
