Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue! We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Meet Herbie the Love Bug!!! OMG this lowrider boy is cute beyond words. Best guess is he is a wire-haired dachshund. He is doing so well with house training, uses the doggy door, is learning the crate (only for meal time). He plays well with others even though they usually just roll him but he gets back up and chases them. He has the sweetest little howl - oh my - it's too sweet. Herbie will be a mid-size/tweenie doxie. He is long and low so no small children please due to the risk of back injury.
