My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harlequin was found on 08/01/17 by a Good Samaritan in Teaneck. Though he is allergic, he did not want her to have a life outside, so he contacted Chance at Life. She was dirty and hungry, but friendly so he was able to grab her. Upon bathing her (because she had pooped on herself and was covered in fleas), a large mass on her belly about the size of a golf ball was found.

As suspected, Harlequin has an Umbilical Hernia. Because she is only 3 months old and 3.4 lbs, she is too small for surgery. Once she weighs 4.5 lbs (5 lbs would be better), then we will do the hernia surgery along with her spay.

As you can see by her photos, she is an amazing young lady who loves yoga, but gets embarrassed easily when she realizes she's caught on camera. Harlequin is available for adoption. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is now up to date on vaccinations.

You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens.

If interested please e-mail us at Chanceatliferescue@gmail.com or download an application from our website http://www.chanceatlifecatrescue.com/.
