Miracle Miriam is a true miracle girl. She was found as a 3 month old kitten in her rescuer's garage, emaciated and near death! She barely had eye reflex and was ice cold. We gave her immediate medical attention and prayed. And a miracle happened! Her eyes started to focus and she was able to watch us. She survived the night and then the next night and then the next and so on. Until 11/20 when she spiked a fever of 106! She was hospitalized for several days and diagnosed with lungworm and coccidia, a double whammy. Again, she pulled through and has been healthy ever since.
She remains a shy kitty who can be gently picked up and held but it takes her time to feel secure. She will play and head butt for more attention when she's comfortable.
