Lucy is a super sweet 9 year old spayed female who was surrendered by her owners who could no longer care for her.  She is small for a female and weighs 32 pounds.  Although she was an outside dog, she has adapted nicely to her foster home environment and her 2 foster Britt brothers.  Lucy is house trained, knows basic commands, is crate trained and walks well  on a leash.  In fact, Lucy is one of the sweetest fosters I have EVER had!  She gives soft kisses and flips on her belly for tummy rubs.

Because Lucy was an outside dog, she needs a secure fenced in yard to run around in and wants to be outside ALL the time.  She has a strong prey drive, but is cat friendly according to her previous owners.  Lucy is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.

If you think your home would be complete with Lucy please fill out an application at the following link:  https://www.nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application.  If you would like to further discuss your interest in Lucy you can contact Gaye Bricker at BeauBritt2@aol.com after submitting your application.  Lucy's adoption fee is $200.00 which helps to offset her vetting expenses and allows NBRAN to help more of these wonderful pets. Transportation can be arranged for up to 1500 miles with Lucy's new family driving the last 100 miles of her journey.

We have a presence in 48 states and work through a network of state coordinators. Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptions are all handled on line, but we also participate in local events depending on the time available and the volunteers in a particular city/area/

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters must complete an adoption application on line at www.nbran.org or contact a volunteer who can assist if computer access is not available. After the application is received, contact will be made by the state coordinator and a home visit/inspection will be scheduled. A check of the provided veterinarian reference(s) will also be done.

Once an adopter is approved, the state coordinator will send a contract and make arrangements for payment of the adoption fee of $350.00. We accept credit cards on line, PayPal or personal check. We also offer reduced fees for senior dogs and for senior adopters!
