Katrina's Story...
There is a storm brewing on the surface… things are warming up, and it’s about to bring the love storm of the century. And the weirdest thing is that it is all happening at your house. Yep, Doppler radar shows a large concentration of activity over your home. So I guess that means you are going to have a whole lot of love to deal with in the coming days. I feel partially responsible; I guess when you have as much love as I do, it starts to manifest in strange weather phenomena. Would that be global heartwarming? I am no scientist, but I am pretty sure you have nothing to worry about. I am crate trained, get along well with respectful kids, can live with cats, and love other dogs. So what would you possibly have to worry about? 1 year old-21lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katrina, a Portland Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
