Molly & Sherman's Story...
Commitment is something that me and my BFF Sherman know a lot about. We have been pals for as long as we can remember, and nothing is going to tear us apart. I know it is probably a lot to ask for someone to open their home to not just one but two time-tested lap lovers. But when you got a good thing going you can’t just throw it to the wind. We are both pretty docile and very loving. We are great with children and very uninterested in making friends with cats. We could live with another dog, but when you got a dynamic duo like us, why would you need a third wheel? We are housebroken, crate trained and pretty much spectacular in every way. You know what they say—two wet noses are better than one! So you just might have hit the love jackpot! 12 years old-30lbs and 7 years old-21lbs. Our adoption fee is $180 and includes microchip & registration, spay/neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly & Sherman, a Portland Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Portland, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
