Crosby's Story...
Name: Crosby
Bread: Collie/Pyrenees mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Crosby is a stunning Collie/Pyr mix who ended up surrendered to a shelter because he got too big. We just think there is more of him to love! He is a friendly, social, super loving pup. He's just over a year old and has been well-socialized and gets along with everyone he meets and loves other dogs. He is working on his housetraining, crates nicely for the workday, not a barker, and does well minding his house manners. He loves toys, walks, and playtime but settles so nicely as well. He would be an excellent first time or family dog.

Requirements: No special requirements.

You can email laurahhk9@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crosby, a Minneapolis Collie/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Great Pyrenees for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Collie/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Collie/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
